Thank you for your
interest in the CFFT-Affymetrix GeneChip® Pseudomonas aeruginosa
Genome Arrays program.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics (CFFT) will be terminating the CFFT-Affymetrix GeneChip®
Pseudomonas aeruginosa Genome Arrays Program as of Aug. 18, 2003.
The original intent of the initiative was to generate interest in the microbiology field. The number and quality of publications emanating from chip use is evidence that we have met our goal. The Pseudomonas chip has now been accepted as a valuable research tool; in fact, these chips are now available at discounted rates in many academic centers through institutional contracts with Affymetrix.
CFFT will NOT be accepting ANY NEW applications for this program after the August 18, 2003 date.
If you are a current grant recipient under this program, you can continue to receive additional chips if you have already been approved for them, or at CFFT's discretion to complete a project that has already been started. Please contact Kenly Belt (Kbelt@cff.org).
